Moving Forward in Truth
Some truths are based on facts, e.g. lightning can struck the same place twice.
Some truths are based on convictions, e.g. durians are the best fruits in the world. There is a selection of choice, e.g. we choose to believe in God.
Faith – Jesus turned water to wine, healed the son of a Roman official, healed the crippled, fed 5000 people, walked on water, healed a man born blind and raised Lazarus from the dead.
Now, while Jesus was in Jerusalem at the Passover feast, many people saw the miraculous signs he was doing and believed in his name. (John 2:23)
Truth releases you to live a new life. (John 3:1-21)
- Be born again – means be born from above. To be a child of God – second birth. First birth is earthly birth from parents i.e. born below. God has deeper things for us. You need a breakthrough into the kingdom of God. To be born from above is to have eternal life.
- Believe in Jesus as the savior. (John 3:14-15) Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the son of man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. God not only saves you from the emptiness in your heart. When you are a child of God, he is your heavenly father who provides for you, protects you, and loves you. We need to live in belief, not unbelief. God will provide the miracle in your life.
- Live in the light. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light. (John 3:21) Living in the light means to live in the truth. We are born in the image of God. Don’t become in the kingdom of darkness. When you live in the light, you face no condemnation but you have God’s approval. The light of God dispelled the darkness in our lives. Saturn is the father of all lies. The only way to be restored is love.
In surrendering to God, you win. Amen.
Moving Forward in Honour
Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the lord your God all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.
Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus replied: Love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment, and the second is like it: love your neighbour as yourself. All the law and prophets hang on these two commandments.
An entitlement mentality leads to the total disregard for everyone or anything, and God’s words and commandments.
