HELLO EVERYBODY! It’s the first weekend of 2015 and off I’m to BATAM once again 😀
My second time playing go-cart in Batam!
We stayed in Greenland Hotel @ Ruko Green Land Blok J No. 12A-16, Batam Centre. It’s a new hotel so it’s pretty clean. However, there’s no lift and escalators, no swimming pool, no KTV, no hair dryer, no clothes hangers. Everything’s in GREEN COLOUR. GOSH. We stayed in the cheapest superior room with limited walking spaces everywhere. How great could it be?! Luckily there’s one massage place and one eatery and not totally NOTHING opposite the hotel.
After checking in, we took the hotel shuttle service to MEGA MALL for our dinner at COBAIN. I don’t like the chilli. The chicken was quite sweet and fragrant and the fish sauce was good and addictive too. Soup tasted very weird.
We had matcha latte and fried ice creams for desserts at BLACK CANYON COFFEE. The horrible and blur stuff did not even bother to tell me the pearls for my drink were sold out and he acted smart and changed to jellies for me instead. WTF I DON’T LIKE JELLIES CAN. The fried ice creams tasted horrible as it’s flour was so damn thick and the ice creams inside have all already melted. HORRIBLE. I will never patronize you again, farewell black canyon coffee.
My loots for the day – stitch bottle, stitch hand sanitizer, pink shoes (for CNY 2015!) , armani exchange tee, best kid ever tee.
That aside, we utilized our free buffet breakfast voucher the next morning and had a pretty hearty variety of food. Sadly, some of the food were a bit cold and they didn’t bother to heat up the food. Oh wells, what do you expect from a new hotel with inexperienced/probably lazy staffs right?
After breakfast and a short rest, we went to the massage place opposite our hotel for a 1.5 hours of aromatherapy massage for Rp. 120,000 (approximately SGD$12.90). It’s a combination of traditional massage with a blend of warmly heated oil and real essential oil to further stimulate your senses with extraordinary fragrance.
Had a late lunch at the eatery opposite our hotel before catching the minibus ride back to the ferry terminal and hopping onto the ferry back to Singapore.
There goes the first weekend of 2015~ time flies, as always.
